In Memory Of India Pace
November 7, 1976 - March 18, 2008

This website is dedicated to helping members of one of the greatest sports we know - professional fishing. We are determined to do more than catch bass; we will also help each other. We are beyond anglers...

We are family.

India Pace - A Member of the FLW Family
Keith Pace has been fishing for Procter & Gamble’s Team Duracell on the FLW Tour Circuit for two years. This bigger fishing family has gotten to know the Pace family and all they have endured. The Proctor & Gamble Team

Keith married India Rae in May of 2006. For nearly all of the following two years, India would prove to be a source of strength and inspiration to those who knew her, and even some that didn’t.

Just three months after marrying Keith and receiving two misdiagnoses, India was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer at the MD Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston. It was found that the cancer had metastasized to her pelvis, sternum, and one lymph node.

India began extensive “Red Devil” chemotherapy for 10 months. By October 2007, India’s cancer had spread to her brain, a setback, but India continued her fight.

India Pace - Daughter, Sister, Wife, & Mother

Brain radiation followed and by December 2007, India began a new chemotherapy treatment for two months. A visit to the hospital in February for what was thought to be gall stones revealed a lesion on her liver, forcing all chemotherapy treatment to end.

India’s heroic and painfully defiant fight against cancer ended on March 18, 2008.

India was a daughter, sister, wife, and most importantly--mother to Preston and Raegan. She was also genuine and kind.

You will never hear the Pace family ask for help. Simply, the spirit and goodness of this family resides in our hearts and leads us to take action.

Prayers, thoughts, and monetary donations are very much appreciated. Thank you to FLW, P&G, Ray Scheide, and everyone involved in making things just a little easier for the Pace family.
